Summer is here and it is time for thinking about renovations to improve our homes.  You really don’t need to spend a fortune to make a huge impact on your home.  Sometimes it’s just a few small changes that can really update your living spaces.

Outdoor landscape lighting:  In addition to being a security help, landscape lighting keeps your property beautiful even at night.  Your landscaping will stand out and still be visible at night with a little help from outdoor lights.

Kitchen and Bathroom Lighting:  Are your fixtures outdated?  Need a more modern feel within your home?  Lighting is one of the first things people notice when entering a room.  For only a few hundred dollars you can make a change which would transform these rooms.

Recessed lighting:  If you are relying on lamps, or other light fixtures, consider recessed lighting.  Recessed lighting immediately modernizes the appearance of your interior, and is a simple project.  If your room isn’t as bright as you would like, recessed lighting is the answer.  Adding a few recessed lights to your living space dramatically changes the ambiance of the room.

Ceiling Fans:  Circulating air is one of the easiest ways to stay cool this summer.  Ceiling fans lend a beautiful appearance and addition to just about any room in the home.  You can also save on your utility bills too.

Dimmer switches:  A simple project which can drastically change the feel of a room.  Want lower light for a more relaxed environment?  Or would you like a nice bright room to get your work done?  It’s your choice with a dimmer switch.  Especially useful in the kitchen or dining room, when entertaining.  Dimmer switches are a very small project with a big return.
